Surrender
I
am a sapling
in the forest
of your love,
endangered
by the wild winds
of your passion.
Thunder trembles
my limbs,
lightning sparks
my branches.
Tornadic
pulsations
crumble the trunk
of my resistance.
Warning sirens
blow
on deaf timbers --
you uproot me.
