WEDDING VOWS

My love, I will serenade you
with daylight songs
in fields and meadows
mosaicked in eternal dreams.

When songbirds roost,
I shall write for you
a lovely rhyme
and paint your silhouette
on the canvas of the moon.

In the stillness
of the sacred night,
beside a crystal spring
as pure as holy water,
I will lay you gently down
on a bed of heaven-straw.

As one, in ecstasied abandon,
we will spiral
to rapturous renewal,
imprint our love forever
on the winds of destiny.
