With
Help From God
The chores of life are tough I
know,
impossible alone to do;
my mind is often filled with
woe,
and only Christ can help me
through.
Yes, when I stumble, when I
fall,
His hand is waiting for my
grasp;
His ear is listening for my
call,
He's there to help me if I ask.
And if the path is dark and
steep,
if rocky is the road I trod,
if tribulations make me weep,
I'll make it through with help
from God.
What lies ahead I can't
foretell;
the course of life is not in
stone,
but this I know and know it
well:
with Christ I will not walk
alone.
