In My Study
In my study I imagine things.
In the dim lamp's light I often dream.
If I had a mind of great knowledge,
perhaps I could think of something
never thought of before.
But just a common sort am I;
for wisdom I do not wish more.
Seems in my study I concentrate;
my mind thinks of better things.
If I had the time I could relate
to you all my imaginings and dreams.
But since the time doth not allow
for such a trivial thing,
I shall retire to my study now
and so complete my dreams.
